Reading Program for Adults

From December 1 - February 28, read whatever you want for entries into our drawings for gift cards and other prizes. Everything you need is available at the Information Desk or online at library.loganutah.org/books/ReadingProgram.

Participate as much as you like and then turn in all your entries before the library closes on Feb 28.

What are the prizes?

Drawings will be held during the first week of March. Two grand prize winners will receive a $50 gift card of their choice from The Book Table, Global Village Gifts, or Amazon.com. Ten other winners will be able to choose from a selection of smaller prizes.

What can I read?

Anything counts: books, newspapers, magazines, articles on the Web, listening to audiobooks, etc. If you are looking for a good book, check out the reading suggestions found on our Books and Reading pages where our adult services librarians have compiled suggested reading lists, both fiction and nonfiction. Participate in any or all of the following ways

Track Your Reading
Mark the hours you read or listen to a book Dec-Feb on the bookmark provided (we don't care how or what you read). More bookmarks are available at the Information Desk or online.
Earn one entry into the drawing for every five hours of reading.
Write a Reviews
Write a short review of a book, audiobook or article you have read Dec-Feb on the printable form or in the online form. More sheets are available upon request.
Earn one entry into the drawing for every book review.
Play Bingo
Read books Dec-Feb fitting the descriptions in five boxes in a row (vertical, horizontal, diagonal) on the bingo sheet provided and mark off the boxes as you finish them. More sheets are available upon request.
Earn five entries into the drawing for every bingo.
Learn a Language
Complete a language course of your choice on Mango Languages between Dec-Feb at library.loganutah.org/mango and fill out the form provided.
Earn three entries into the drawing for every course completed.
