Our Mission Statement:

The Logan Library storytime is a program that promotes literacy in a fun and engaging way by reading books, singing songs, and dancing. Storytime is geared towards children but is meant for the enjoyment of all. From unborn children to centenarians, the Logan Library’s Youth Services Team strives to create storytimes that will engage everyone. We endeavor to make storytime a safe space full of diversity that represents all parts of the Logan community to the best of our ability.

Reading, writing, playing, singing, and talking are the 5 components of early literacy that we include aspects of in every storytime. Because of this, storytime can be a great resource for practicing early literacy skills. Storytime encourages active participation and can help build literacy, social, and motor skills for children and the grown-ups who care for them. Storytime is a free program that welcomes all!
