The last Helicon West event of the summer will be held Thursday, Aug 25 at 7:00 PM at the CacheARTS Thatcher-Young Mansion (35 W 100 S, Logan). The featured reader will be USU English Department Lecturer, Ashley Wells, and an open mic will follow.

Ashley Wells earned her MFA in Creative Nonfiction from California State University, Fresno. Her book The Cowgirl and the Racehorse: A Recovery was published with Lantern Publishing and Media in October 2020.

Helicon West is free, uncensored, and open to the public and is made possible with assistance from Utah Humanities, Sugar House Review, the Logan Library, Bear River Heritage Area, the USU Inclusion Center, the USU Department of English, and you.
