A family of four boys, a mother and a father are sailing to Switzerland in hopes of finding a new life. On their journey they become ship wrecked on an island with many tropical fruits and vegetables. They stay on the island for fifteen years encountering giant serpents, invading monkeys, a beached whale and a ship wrecked sailor.
