This book is called Spider Wick and the Looking Glass by Holly Black and Tony Diterilizzi. Mallory, Jarred and Simon Grace are brothers and sisters who just moved in to their great-aunt, Lucida's home. Jarred Grace goes into the attic and finds a Field Guide but it gets them into trouble they face many obstacles on their adventures. I really like this book because this book is like a fairy tale and plus it's got pictures.

The Spiderwick Chronicles, the field guied starts out in a car with three kids Jared, Mallory, and Simon Grace. They are moving in to a new house called Spiderwick Estate. Jared meets a Brownie and makes it made. They find a field guide that leads them to the magical world around them. They find a secret room, Arthur Spiderwicks lab. They found it by going up the dumbwaiter.

Make a new house for the Brownie to make friends with it. They learn about the Seeing Stone, mean while Simon gets kid napped by Goblins. Will they be able to save him?

Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black both wrote a mystery with fantasy. Their book is full of surprises. Were three ordinary kids Simon, Mollory, and Jared move into a new house(more like old since it's falling apart.) They just step into a house full of problems. Their parents get in a divorce and Jared keeps getting in fights at school. He's mom can't take it anymore! The house they moved into is their Aunts. People say she's going crazy because she says little people feed her and go visit her. Is she really crazy or is she telling the truth? They can live there till the house falls apart or till they get kicked out by their aunt. Who or what well get in their way? This book is the first of the chronicles but not the last
