Peak is about a boy named Peak. Peak is an adventurous kid, but a little to adventurous. When you climb up several buildings and hope that nobody will know, that's a little to risky. Peak was climbing his sixth building when he suddenly gets busted by an airplane. The people on the airplane pull him in. Peaks fingernails were split straight down the middle! He goes to court and they sentence him to some time in detention. So there is a boy with split fingernails in D.T. How will he be treated? What will he do next? Will he stop climbing buildings?

I'm reading a book called Peak by Ronald Smith. This story starts off with Peak climbing a cliffhanger. He tries to beak a record. While he was climbing the police and SWAT team come to the skyscraper and arrest Peak because a kid had died by copying him. Peak goes to jail for several days. He's face is all scratched up from climbing. Peak gets out of jail and gets ready to climb mountain Everest in Tibet. Peak could be the youngest person to climb mount Everest. But he's has to understand the risk that could happen to him while he's climbing.

You should read this book cause it has a little blood in it and it isn't that boring like all the other books I read and it's a good book thats why you should read peak.
