No Promises in the Wind takes place during the Great Depression. There are three boys that run away from their home in Chicago, and get in some trouble. On their way they, run into a lot of people who become their friends .Those that become their friends were a truck driver, gangster and a people that work in fair. In the end they learned that they should have stayed in Chicago. If you like books about history then you shoud read this book.

it takes place during the great dreppresion .the main two characters josh and joey are brothers but completly different . they have a great home , why they leave you will have to read the book to find out

I loved the book, it was one of the best books i ever read ,and i really dont like to read but this book was great. i would recomend any one this book.
