A little girl raised in Bombay, India travels with her father to London to go to a boarding school. While she is there her father looses all of his money and dies, leaving her penniless. She becomes a scullery maid, and is forced to work long hours to pay for her room and board. What will Sarah do when she discovers that her father's diamond mines unexpectedly yield millions of diamonds?
