In response to i_am_miroku3 and as a big Eclipse fan, I feel the need to defend this list. I'll admit, Manga Mania is one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon, but I don't think you can consider manga a real "book." What is Manga Mania compared to Harry Potter and Eclipse? IMHO books need words. Lots of them.

I really would have thought that the top picks for YA books would be a little different. Really! I've never even heard of some of these books. I feel like there is a conspiracy. I bet the authors of these books paid children to vote so that their books would win. Its just like the Emmy's. They are soooo rigged. I would have thought that some Japaneses anime would have made it on to the top picks for teens. I mean, you can't get better than manga mania. I really do feel there is a discrepancy. Maybe the Japanese didn't have enough money to buy votes. Is that fair? I think not!
