Each year the American Library Association gives the Alex Award to 10 books written for adults that have appeal to young adult readers. If you want to expand your reading beyond the young adult section, books that have won the Alex Award are a good place to start. You can find the list of this year's and past winners on the American Library Association website. The Logan Library owns these books from the 2008 list:
