Yes. You will need your Library Card number and Pin number to login to NetLibrary eAudiobooks from home.
Yes. In addition to your library card and pin number, you need a NetLibrary account to download eAudiobooks. A free preview is available for most eAudiobooks, but you must first create an account to download complete eAudiobooks. To create an account, go to NetLibrary and click the Create a Free Account link in the top right corner of the screen.
We recommend using the NetLibrary Media Center to listen to eAudiobooks, manage downloads, and transfer books to your portable listening device. The Media Center is available as a free download from the NetLibrary website.

Most NetLibrary eAudiobooks are in a secure WMA format. These are compatible with a wide range of portable devices, including portable music players, portable media centers, Pocket PCs, and even select smartphone devices. For more information, see a list of supported portable listening devices. Note that the titles in the secure WMA format will not play on iPods or iPhones.
Selected OverDrive Audio Books are available in an MP3 format. These will play on most portable music player including iPods and iPhones.
Go to NetLibrary and click Advanced Search. In the Format section, choose MP3 from the dropdown box. This will bring up a list of titles that can be listened to on any player including iPods and iPhones.
No. The NetLibrary license agreement does not permit buring audio books to a CD.
To listen to an eAudiobook in a car, you'll need a radio transmitter or other device adapter that works with your portable listening device and car stereo. Contact your device manufacturer for specific requirements.
