Fall Reading Program for Adults

Our fall reading program for adults encourages you to read dangerously! Do you dare to read something dangerous? You'll find it at the library!

Pick up everything you need to get started at the Information Desk starting September 1st. The program runs until November 30th.

Romance Writers of America Announces 2015 Award Winners

Romance Writers of America (RWA), the trade association for aspiring and published romance fiction authors, announced the winners for the 2015 RITA® Awards on July 25th. The RITA - the highest award of distinction in romance fiction - recognizes excellence in published romance novels and novellas.

2015 RITA Winners:

Contemporary Romance (Long): Baby, It's You by Jane Graves

Centennial Celebration at Logan Library - 1940s

Come learn what the library and life was like during the 1940s.

When: Tuesday, August 18th - 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Where: Lake Bonneville Room

Special Movie Presentation
When: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Jim Bridger Room
  • Watch cartoons and newsreels from the 1940s.
    • Superman animated cartoon
    • Donald Duck cartoons
  • Display on 'Little Golden Books' with copies to be given away to the first 20 visitors.
  • Come see how the 'Victory Book' program supported our troops in WWII.
  • Play with classic toys of the 1940s. Did you know the Slinky first came out in the early 1940s?
  • Come taste some food and candy from that era.
  • Centennial READ poster photo booth, more information.
  • Special Movie Presentation: Casablanca at 6:30 in the Jim Bridger room.
