As part of our online collection, The Logan Library subscribes to research databases that can help you research your genealogy.

• Ancestry Library Edition is similar to the ancestry.com website available to individual subscribers. It contains census records; birth, marriage and death records; immigration records; military records; court, land, and probate records; photos, maps, and more. Ancestry Library Edition is available only on computers in the library.
• HeritageQuest provides access to many resources including census records, books and periodicals, revolutionary war records, and Freedman's bank records. A library card number and pin number are required to access HeritageQuest outside of the library.

Book: Grave Sight by Charlaine Harris

Harris, better known for her Sookie Stackhouse southern Vampire series, introduces a brave, though slightly odd, new heroine. Harper was struck by lightning as a child and she now has the ability to find dead people and see how they died. A fun, quick and entertaining read.
