In 1998, Matthew Shepard was brutally murdered in Wyoming because of his sexual orientation. In this unique examination of the events that surrounded Shepard's death and its aftermath, the author and his theater group present a play written from oral interviews of Laramie residents. The result is a surprisingly intense and moving work.
