National Library Week and Events
![]()
This week is National Library Week! First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. This year's theme is You Belong @ Your Library. To celebrate, we have three special events planned: On Monday, April 9th, we will be kicking off our Monday Night is Movie Night program by showing Puss in Boots at 6:30 PM in the Jim Bridger Room! Visit our Community Events Calendar for more information. Next, on Thursday, April 12th at 7 PM, USU students will be presenting on the life of May Swenson and her connection to Logan City. Books from the May Swenson Project will be for sale after the event. Last, local children's author Michelle L. King will be at the Logan Library on Saturday, April 14th, at 11:00 AM. She will read from her books "Barrett's Unusual Ice Cream Party" and "Mr. Percy's Mysterious Glasses." Copies of the books will be available to purchase and have signed by the author. We hope to see you in the Logan Library for National Library Week! ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted By Logan Library at 9:07 AM in Category:Events
