National Library Week 2014
National Library Week is April 13-19, 2014. First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. This year's theme is Lives Change @ Your Library.
Gallery Walk: Friday, April 11, 6:00 PM-9:00 PM: The library will be a host location in Logan's downtown gallery walk and will feature the watercolor paintings of Lester B. Lee.
Community Fair: Saturday, April 12, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. To celebrate how lives change at our library, we're sponsoring a community fair and bringing life-changing nonprofit organizations right into the library! Bring your friends and family for a fun and inspiring time!
Drop-in Storytime 1: Monday, April 14, 3:30 PM, Lake Bonneville room: Bring your kids to a storytime with firemen! Children under age three must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.
Drop-in Storytime 2: Friday, April 18, 3:30 PM, Jim Bridger room: Bring your kids to a storytime with policemen! Children under age three must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.
Library Birthday: Friday, April 18 is the library's 98th birthday! Why not visit the library that day and have your life changed by the thousands of items and services the library provides?
