Staff Reading Pick
![]() Here is another reading pick from the Logan Library Staff. Book: 26 Rounds for Kelly by Brent Weaver Recommended by: Debbie Why does God let bad things happen to good people? Diagnosed with a rare bone cancer at the age of 27, Brent Weaver shares the insights he gained into this universal question as he talks about the physical, spiritual, and emotional struggles he endured during his 2 1/2 year battle. In the end, his goal was to stay alive long enough to finish this book. He felt strongly that by sharing his story and describing the things that he learned, his words might bring comfort to others facing the life-shattering experience of cancer. Brent was my cousin, so naturally I am biased, but I do believe that this book can bring the comfort he hoped it would, as well as a better understanding of what cancer patients really go through.
