Can't decide what to read next? Are you looking for a novel set in a certain time period or place? Have you read everything by your favorite author? Then let NoveList help you find the perfect book. NoveList is an online fiction reading guide that the Logan Library subscribes to. It has many features to match readers with books including:

  • Descriptions of over 143,000 fiction titles.
  • The ability to search for books about a paricular subject, type of character, or time period.
  • Author read-alikes (lists of books similar to those by a particular author).
  • Book discussion guides.
  • Books lists.
  • Lists of books in a series.
Start using NoveList now, or read the Frequently Asked Questions to learn more. A Logan Library Card Number and Pin Number are required to access NoveList outside the library.

Online Auto Repair Manuals

Are you trying to save money by repairing and maintaining your own car? If so, you should take a look at the Logan Library's Auto Repair Reference Center. This resource provides online access to over 28,000 auto repair manuals. The online manuals are available for import and domestic models and contain:

  • Drawings and step-by-step photographs.
  • Technical service bulletins and recalls.
  • Wiring diagrams.
  • Specifications and maintenance schedules.

Go to our Auto Repair Reference Center subscription to obtain a manual or read the FAQ for more information. A Logan Library card is required for access to Auto Repair Reference Center outside of the Library.

OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks Now Available

OverDrive LogoSelected audiobook titles are now available in an MP3 format from OverDrive. Unlike audiobooks in the WMA format, MP3 audiobooks can be played on any MP3 player including iPods. To see a list of titles that are available in an MP3 format:

  1. Go to the OverDrive Website.
  2. Click "Advanced Search".
  3. Choose "OverDrive MP3 Audiobook" for the format. Then click "Search".
