The Logan Library is offering a new service in which we provide personalized reading suggestions based on your individual reading preferences, likes, and dislikes. ALA Award Winners
The American Library Association announced their youth media awards on Monday, and the following titles received awards:
John Newbery Medal for the most outstanding contribution to children's literature:
Moon Over Manifest by Clare Vanderpool
Randolph Caldecott Medal for the most distinguished American picture book for children:
A Sick Day For Amos McGee written by Philip C. Stead, illustrated by Erin E. Stead
Michael L. Printz Award for excellence in literature written for young adults:
Ship Breaker by Paolo Bacigalupi

One Day Book Sale
The Logan Library is holding a large book sale on Friday, October 15 from 10:00 am to 6:00 p.m. in the library's Jim Bridger Room. Used books, DVDs, videos, and other items will be available - all for $2.00 or less. Proceeds will benefit the library.
