Centennial Celebration at Logan Library - 1930s
The year is 1930 & there is no TV and no video games. What do we do for entertainment? We entertain each other, and that is what the Logan Library will be doing to celebrate the 1930s.
When: Saturday, July 18th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Logan Library
Come join us for two great home-grown melodramas: The Legend of Lightning Larry and Peddler Polly and the Story Stealer. Each performed by our very own Logan Library Children's Theater. The plays will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Lake Bonneville Room. They are free and the public is invited. More Information
And what celebration of the 1930s would be complete without a showing of the 1939 hit movie, The Wizard of Oz? Join us at 2:00 p.m. for free 1930s theater candy, (remember Boston Baked Beans?) and a showing of The Wizard of Oz. The Movie will be shown at 2:00 p.m. in the Jim Bridger Room. More Information
This program is part of the Logan Library Centennial Commemoration.
