Come to the library on Thursday, February 21 at 7 PM for a free showing of the new biographical documentary LLOYD ALEXANDER by Utah filmmaker Jared Crossley!

One of America's premier authors of children's fantasy, Lloyd Alexander is best known for the Chronicles of Prydain, including the 1969 Newbery winner The High King. This documentary gives fans a never-before-seen glimpse of the life and writings of this beloved author, including an in-depth look at the land of Prydain.

Longtime fans of Lloyd Alexander and eager new readers alike will enjoy this heartwarming look at America's High King of Fantasy.

Crossley will be in attendance to introduce the film. Event will be held in the Jim Bridger Room. Sponsored by the Adult Nonfiction and Children's divisions at the Logan Library.

Registration for a new series of classes has begun! Learning @ the Library are classes that offer instruction on computer, email, and internet basics, as well as instruction on how to use your Kindle, iPad, or Nook with the Logan Library's resources. You can either bring your own device or use one of the library's. A schedule of classes is available here.

On Thursday, January 24th from 7:00 to 8:45 PM in the Lake Bonneville Room, we invite members of the community to bring their family heirlooms - documents, photos, journals or other family treasures to the library. Randy Silverman, curator and preservation specialist at the University of Utah's Marriott Library, will lead an informal discussion and give personalized suggestions on their condition and long-term preservation. Randy Silverman has over 30 years of experience and is internationally known for his work, so don't miss this event!
