There is still one month left of our 2008 Summer Reading Program. If you're 12 and under, it's not too late to sign-up for the children's program. If you've already signed-up be sure to turn in your reading records to collect your prizes.

If you're over 12 you can participate in our program for adults and teens. Just fill out an entry slip for each book you read for a chance to win a free book.

We are holding our regular Book Sale on Friday, July 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the library conference room. In addition to used books, we are selling cassettes, CDs, videos and DVDs. Most items are priced between 50¢ and $2.00.

Utah State University has invited the community to participate in this year's common literature experience. This year's book selection is A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah. Beah will be speaking at USU on Saturday, August 23 at 9:30 a.m. in the Kent Concert Hall. Community members are welcome to attend this free event.
