National Friends of the Library October 16 - 22

Come help the Friends of the Logan Library celebrate National Friends of Libraries Week by attending the Friends of the Logan Library Special Book Sale:

Special Book Sale in the Logan Library Lake Bonneville Room.
  • Thursday, October 20 - Friends Members Only: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Membership available at the door)
  • Friday, October 21: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (Open to all)
  • Saturday, October 22: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (Open to all)
Come be a Friend to YOUR library and get some good books and information in the process.

Consumer Fraud Protection Workshop for Seniors

We are pleased to announce that Keirsten Meyer from BRAG will share the latest information about how to prevent consumer fraud for our next Senior Thursday program.

When: Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 1:30 pm
Where: Lake Bonneville Room

Refreshments will be served.

Our Senior Thursday program continues every 2nd Thursday of the month with different presentations.

October Gallery Walk
clear
The library will be open later than usual this Friday, October 7th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm to participate in the CVCA Gallery Walk. The library is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and will be featuring the following artists:
  • Emily Walker, painter. Emily's paintings show the vibrant colors and shapes that harken to her Hispanic roots.
  • Michelle Reyes, Dia de los Muertos Skull Art. Michelle's sugar skull art is deeply rooted in her family history in Mexico.
  • Gloria Perez, Mexican Piñata Art. Gloria amazes everyone with her talents in creating various shaped piñatas.
Other Latino art will also be on display.

When: Friday, October 7th: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Where: Logan Library
