![]() Here is another reading pick from the Logan Library Staff. Book: Scribble, Scribble, Scribble by Simon Schama Recommended by: Joseph, Nonfiction Librarian Historian Simon Schama has a wide range of interests and a flowing pen which combine beautifully and to great effect in his latest book, a collection of articles and book reviews spanning three decades. Whether you are interested in art, history, travel, cooking, or politics, it's all here in Schama's wonderfully descriptive and award-winning style. Here's to hoping there's a second collection in the works! Want more reading suggestions? View previous staff picks. ![]() ![]() Posted By Logan Library at 8:43 AM

![]() Here is another reading pick from the Logan Library Staff. Book: The Woodcutter by Reginald Hill Recommended by: Melanie, Librarian Wolf Hadda was a self-made man. Framed for crimes he didn't commit, thrown into prison, abandoned and reviled, he retreats into silence. Seven years later he starts to talk and finally, under the watch of a prison psychiatrist, he is paroled, looking for the truth - and revenge. Beautifully written with rich characterization and wry humor, this is a superb mystery by a masterful storyteller. Want more reading suggestions? ![]() Here is another reading pick from the Logan Library Staff. Book: The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation by Sid Jacobson and Ernie Colón Recommended by: Joseph, Nonfiction Librarian You've never read history like this: the 9/11 Commission's final report on the 2001 terrorist attacks, abridged and illustrated in comic book format- though there's nothing funny here. The serious, nonfiction storytelling combined with vivid graphics make for a gripping and unforgettable experience. Want more reading suggestions?
