Preschool Storytime

Our Children's Pre-School Storytime begins the week of January 7th.

Preschool Storytime is for children ages 3-5. 30 minutes of stories, songs and fun! Parents and caregivers are welcome.

The Logan Library offers a variety of Storytime programs, including Preschool Storytime, Toddler Storytime and Spanish Storytime, as well as Afterschool Activities.

Golden Spike Sesquicentenial Exhibits (Brigham)

Come and enjoy two great exhibits highlighting the Golden Spike Sesquicentenial.

  • Zhi Lin: Tracing Chinese Workers' Footsteps to Promontory Summit

10:00 AM A Rock Odyssey - Rock and Gem Show

The Cache Rock and Gem Club is holding it's annual Rock Show. Rocks, minerals, fossils, jewelry, displays, educational exhibits, hands-on demos, door prizes. Activities for the kids: Wheel of Fortune, Mystery Bags, Treasure Hunt. For groups of 20 or more contact Shawndra.

This event is family friendly and perfect for Scout troops!

3:30 PM ASAP: After School Activity Program

Come join us in the Lake Bonneville Room every Thursday afternoon at 3:30pm for our After School Activity Programs. Each week is something different. Choose your interests or come every week. All activities are free and open to the public.

After-School Activites are intended for children ages 6-12. Younger children are also welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent (to help with crafts and experiments).

1st Thursday: Science/Engineering Club

2nd Thursday: Lego Club

3rd Thursday: Arts & Crafts Club

4th Thursday: Chess & Other Strategy Games

5th Thursday: A New Surprise Each 5th Thursday!

6:30 PM USU Extension Gardening Series: Do It Yourself - Landscape Design

Come learn the art and science behind designing the perfect landscape. This four-part workshop will begin with participants creating their own plot plan. Each workshop will build upon design concepts, with the ultimate goal of walking away with a planting plan - complete with a list of adapted plants.

This spring series of garden-related classes and workshops are sponsored by USU Extension. Each workshop will offer participants a hands-on educational experience that is sure to help any backyard hobbyist become a better gardener.
