11:00 AM Friends of the Logan Library Book Sale

Through a generous donation from Gene Needham, owner of the former store “Books of Yesterday,” the Friends of the Logan Library will host a large-scale book sale in the old Car Care Center at 321 N Main St, beginning Saturday, August 16, 2014. The sale will continue into October.

Over 30,000 books will be available for purchase, as well as some wooden tables and shelving units from the recently vacated store, all at extremely low “yard sale” type prices.

For more information about hours, pricing or helping to volunteer, check out the Friends group Facebook page www.facebook.com/loganlibraryfriends or email us.

If you are interested in volunteering to help at the sale or to help move books to the sale (to be sold) please contact Robert Shupe, Library Director at 716-9130.

7:00 PM The Complete Works of Shakespeare(Abridged)

Three guys, one dead playwright, and 37 plays, all in under two hours. Knowledge about Shakespeare's works is helpful, but not at all necessary. All that is needed is time enough to watch and someone to dial 911 in case you pass out from laughing so much.

Directed by Sam Farnsworth. Written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield.

For tickets, call 435-458-BARN, or visit www.oldbarn.org

Evening shows begin at 7:00 pm, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
