The Logan Library will be open late, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, to participate in the Cache Valley Center for the Arts Gallery Walk, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm.
We are delighted to welcome artist Donald Linton and musician Robert Linton.
Donald Linton studied art with his undergraduate program at Utah State University. Thereafter, he received his Juris Doctorate and subsequently, his primary focus was the practice of law -- even though he painted for decades in his part time hours while working as an Attorney. After retiring from the law two years ago, he began painting full time, focusing primarily on wild life art. Some of the paintings shown here tonight represent impressionism and wild life representations. Donald still paints in both styles and has a deep interest in both types of art.
Robert Linton will provide music. Robert Linton is a musician of deep thoughtfulness, this sensitivity is evident on his recordings of lyrical guitar instrumentals. Linton plays finger- style nylon-string guitar, his songs exude such tranquil beauty and peaceful solace that they work their way into your soul without you even realizing it. They become part of your being without any conscious effort or mood-setting required, which is the essence of true musical artistry.
Refreshments will be served.
The Logan City Sesquicentennial Photo Wall in the library will be open for self guided tours.
