7:30 PM Fry Street Quartet: Bartok Cycle with Peter Laki

The six string quartets by Béla Bartók were a seminal artistic achievement of the 20th century, and remain one of the great bodies of works in the history of the string quartet. Bartok revolutionized string quartet writing with these pieces, and the power, poetry, and genius of these works have inspired audiences for nearly 100 years.

The Fry Street Quartet is proud to present a rare opportunity for Utahns to experience the complete cycle of Bartók string quartets over three evenings.
