VITA - Tax Assistance
With the help of IRS certified volunteers, come get your federal and state taxes done for free. Simply call 2-1-1 to schedule an appointment.

VITA, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, is a program implemented through the statewide Earn It. Keep It. Save It. Coalition made up of local community partners. The coalition works to recruit IRS certified volunteers that provide free tax preparation services to low to moderate-income households (incomes below $51,000 in 2013).

Sites are available Monday - Thursday.

9:00 AM Annual Spring Book Sale
USU's Merrill-Cazier Library will hold its Spring Book Sale March 5-7. Take your mind on spring break. All books only 25 cents! From beach reading to scholarly texts, there's something for everyone. Starts 9AM Wednesday, continues during regular library hours, ends 3PM Friday.

12:00 PM International Women's Day Celebration
Celebrate International Women's Day at the new location of Global Village Gifts. The theme for 2013 is "The Gender Agenda: Gaining Momentum." Activities will include:

- Ribbon cutting at 12PM
- Special prizes to the first 25 customers
- Light refreshments

Over time and distance, the equal rights of women have progressed. We celebrate the achievements of women while remaining vigilant and tenacious for further sustainable change. There is global momentum for championing women's equality.
