9:00 AM SNC Adventurers Summer Camp

Join Stokes Nature Center for summer camps full of fun, exploration, and adventure! Adventurers will expand their knowledge of natural history by learning the names and adaptations of native plants and animals while canoeing through cutler marsh, increase self reliance by navigating a climbing wall, and booting confidence and self-esteem as they build friendships and teamwork skills on the ropes course.

For children entering 2nd through 4th grade in Fall 2018. Registration is limited to 13 campers, so reserve your space today!

Camps include:

  • Muddy Paws: June 4th to 8th: $170.00
  • Outdoor Adventure I: June 11th to 16th: $270.00
  • Animal Olympics 1: July 2nd; $35.00
  • Animal Olympics 2: July 3rd; $35.00

10:00 AM SNC Little Explorers Summer Camp

Join us from 9 AM - 12 PM Monday through Thursday for nature-themed crafts, snacks, games, and nature exploration. Summer fun for your little ones!

Little Explorers will develop independence through unstructured nature play, a sense of wonder and curiosity about their natural environment,and school readiness by increasing peer participation and strengthening social skills.

For children entering Pre-K through 1st grade in Fall 2018 (3 - 6 years). All campers must be fully potty trained in advance.

Camps include:

  • Sences: June 4th to 7th; $95.00
  • Weather: June 11th to 14th; $95.00
  • Soil: June 18th to 21st; $95.00
  • Insects: June 25th to 28th; $95.00

11:00 AM Historic Adventures

Historic Adventures are happening right now at the American West Heritage Center. From now until August 18, visitors can participate in a variety of fun, hands-on activities the whole family can enjoy, including pony and train rides, cow milking, and Tea Time Fridays, Tuesday-Saturday, 11-5.

Historic Adventures starts June 6, 2017 and goes until August 19, 2017, Tuesday - Saturday, 11AM - 5PM.

12:00 PM Logan Tabernacle Noon Summer Concert Series

The Logan Tabernacle Summer Concert Series is enjoying it's 17th Season!

The Series starts on Monday, May 28th, 2018, and will continue through Friday, August 3rd. Each weekday, a free concert, open to the public is presented at 12:00 noon in the Logan Tabernacle. Outstanding performers are showcased.

The Utah Festival Opera and Old Lyric Repertory Theater also feature performers of their current season of shows.

All concerts are free and open to the public. Please use concert etiquette while attending.

2:00 PM USU Environmental Observatory at the Logan Library

OnThursday, June 7 at 2:00 pm, Mayor Holly Daines, and Karen Clark, Library Director, and representatives from USU, Apogee Instruments, and Campbell Scientific will gather in the Plaza to introduce the Environmental Observatory. There will be crafts for kids, weather experiments, and information booths about weather. Refreshments will be served. Please join us to celebrate weather in Logan!

5:00 PM Common Ground Summer Social

We want to celebrate the beginning of summer with you.

Games, Dinner and Music will be provided.

Common Ground is a private non-profit organization which provides life-enhancing recreational opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities. Common Ground provides adaptive equipment and support, which enable people with disabilities to participate in outdoor recreation. These experiences reduce stereotypes, raise awareness and empower people to realize their full potential.
