7:30 PM The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
The Old Barn Community theatre presents "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," directed by Mark Jensen. Performances are held Friday, Saturday and Monday with matinees on Saturday the 14th and Saturday the 21st at 2:30PM. View the website for more details.

The Herdmans were the worst kids in the whole history of the world. They lied and stole and smoked cigars, even the girls, and they talked dirty and hit little kids and cussed their teachers and took the name of the Lord in vain and set fire to Fred Shoemakers old broken down tool house.

Through mistakes and mishaps Grace Bradley finds herself directing the Christmas Pageant for the first time in her life, and the Herdmans, who have never been in church before and have never even heard the Christmas story, somehow become her Pageant’s main characters.

The church will never be the same and not just because of “the fire.” Christmas will never quite be the same either, after witnessing the well-known story through the fresh eyes of the Herdmans.
