Logan City School District will hold Kindergarten Registration for the 2013-2014 school year on March 4-7, 2013. Children who will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2013 and currently reside within the Logan City School District boundaries are eligible to register. Bring your child, a birth certificate, proof of all immunizations and proof of address.
VITA - Tax Assistance
With the help of IRS certified volunteers, come get your federal and state taxes done for free. Simply call 2-1-1 to schedule an appointment.
VITA, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, is a program implemented through the statewide Earn It. Keep It. Save It. Coalition made up of local community partners. The coalition works to recruit IRS certified volunteers that provide free tax preparation services to low to moderate-income households (incomes below $51,000 in 2013).
Sites are available Monday - Thursday.
9:00 AM Annual Spring Book Sale
The Merrill-Cazier Library's Annual Spring Book Sale will be March 4-6, in the atrium. Sale starts 9am Wednesday, continues during library open hours, and ends 3pm Friday. From beach reading to scholarly texts, there's something for everyone. All books 25 cents.

For ages 2-3
Explore animals, plants, and nature with your toddler through music, crafts, and games. This is a parent interactive program, and toddlers must have a parent present to participate and explore along with their child.

6:30 PM Jewish Responses to the Holocaust: From Spiritual and Religious Practices to Armed Resistance
The Religious Studies Program along with the Department of History at Utah State University present Dr. Emil Kerenji, Researcher in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and his lecture "Jewish Responses to the Holocaust: From Spiritual and Religious Practices to Armed Resistance."
Dr. Kerenji will address the various ways in which Jewish peoples across Europe responded to widespread Anti-Semitism, the Nazi occupation, and genocide. The talk will be a 45 minute lecture, followed by a Q&A period, and will include photographs and other images from the Holocaust.
This lecture is open to both the University community and to the public.
7:00 PM Movie Night Special Feature: How Beautiful: A Pictorial History of the Logan Temple
Following the success of his books, local historian Darrin Smith has now completed the first volume of a documentary film series on the history of the Logan LDS Temple.
The film features photographs collected from institutions all over Utah and from the personal collection of the author. Readers of his book of the same title will be pleased to see three times as many photographs along with engaging narration and sound effects.
Come join us for a free public viewing of this exciting new film!
7:00 PM Autism Support Group Meeting
This groups is for people with autism, family members and friends. Anyone desiring to attend for research or other purposes are asked NOT to attend due to confidentiality and the nature of the meetings. This group meets the first Thursday of every month. Contact Jennie for more information.
