10:00 AM Baby Animal Days

It’s that time of year to celebrate Baby Animal Days at American West Heritage Center. Visitors can pet baby lambs, goats, ducks, chicks, piglets, calves, bunnies, turtles and more. Plus, don’t miss out on your chance to see baby bears from Yellowstone’s Bear World!

Baby Animal Days runs from April 4-7, 2018 from 10 am to 6 pm. The last ticket is sold at 5 p.m. The baby bear line closes at 4:30 p.m. All visitors can receive $1 off with the donation of any non- perishable food item.

Refugee Connection's 1st Annual Charity Bowling Tournament will be held on April 15th at Logan Lanes in Logan, Utah. Bring your team out for an afternoon of bowling and fun with friends, family, and supporters of Refugee Connection. All proceeds from this event will go to programs and projects that serve refugees and immigrants in Cache Valley, Utah.

7:00 PM A Conversation with Civil Rights Legend Bob Zellner

The Tanner Talks presents “A Conversation with Civil Rights Legend Bob Zellner”. The event is free and open to the public.

Robert Zellner is a civil rights activist and original Freedom Rider. The Alabama-born son and grandson of Ku Klux Klan members, Zellner has devoted his life to building relationships across color lines. In 1963, he was a young organizer of the March on Washington, which gave us Martin Luther's King "I Have a Dream" speech. He describes his 50-plus year career in the memoir The Wrong Side of Murder Creek: A White Southerner in the Freedom Movement.

The Friends of the Merrill-Cazier Library are pleased to announce a presentation by author D. Michael Quinn entitled, The Mormon Hierarchy: Wealth and Corporate Power.

Quinn will relate years of research into LDS financial dominance from 1830 to 2010.
