3:30 PM Teen Tuesday: Craft It Up!

Looking for something fun to do after school or during the summer break? Then come to the library for Teen Tuesdays. We'll be doing something fun every Tuesday at 3:30 pm.

Let your inner artist shine at our craft Tuesday. These ain't your granny's crafts. Each craft week we bring the supplies and ideas but you bring your imagination. You can re-create our examples or Picasso it up and create something new for yourself.

7:30 PM Fry Street Quartet: Bartok Cycle with Peter Laki

The six string quartets by Béla Bartók were a seminal artistic achievement of the 20th century, and remain one of the great bodies of works in the history of the string quartet. Bartok revolutionized string quartet writing with these pieces, and the power, poetry, and genius of these works have inspired audiences for nearly 100 years.

The Fry Street Quartet is proud to present a rare opportunity for Utahns to experience the complete cycle of Bartók string quartets over three evenings. Noted Bartók scholar and speaker Peter Laki will offer the audience his expertise and knowledge while interacting onstage with the quartet to create an unforgettable, immersive experience with these masterpieces.
