Adult Fall Reading Program Signup Begins

From September 1st to November 30th, adults are invited to track their reading time, write a review, complete a book title search, or take an online class for entries into our drawings for gift cards and other prizes.

Our theme is Celebrate Our Freedom to Read, an extension of Banned Book Week which is in September. Everything needed will be available at the Information Desk or online at library.loganutah.org/books/readingprogram/.

Preschool Storytime

Our Children's Pre-School Storytime begins the week of September 3rd & 4th.

Preschool Storytime is for children ages 3-5. 30 minutes of stories, songs and fun! Parents and caregivers are welcome.

The Logan Library offers a variety of Storytime programs, including Preschool Storytime, Toddler Storytime and Spanish Storytime, as well as Afterschool Activities.

USU Exhibit: Haikus, Modernism and Stanton MacDonald-Wright's

Stanton MacDonald-Wright’s “Haiga Portfolio” (1965-1966) blends Eastern and Western influences, pairing vibrant modernist paintings with haikus written by some of Japan’s most influential poets.

USU Exhibition: Latinx from the NEHMA Collection

Latinx works of art represent a growing part of the NEHMA collection and reflect a significant influence in Western American art. New acquisitions by Yolanda Gonzalez, Leo Limón, Paul Sierra and Eloy Torrez will be featured in Latinx from the Collection as well as a grouping of paños, artworks created on handkerchiefs by artists incarcerated in Texas penitentiaries.

Latinx from the NEHMA Collection is co-curated by USU Art History Professor Alvaro Ibarra and NEHMA Curator of Collections and Exhibitions Bolton Colburn.

Bilingual Storytime is for children who speak Spanish, or those who are learning the language.

The library has a new Tween club! We'll be playing with some new tech and just generally having a good time.

What is a tween? A kid who feels a little too old for Children's activities, but isn't ready (or old enough) to go to Teen activities. Generally, ages 10-14'ish.

5:30 PM Logan Library Genealogy Club

  • We will be interpreting the symbols and carvings on gravestones. Also, discover how you can gain new insights into your family through accurately reading their gravestones.

7:00 PM Cache Makers: Maker Meetup - Woodworking

Woodworking by Craig Petith.

Craig Petith is one of our local business owners. A professional carpenter by trade, he has graciously volunteered hundreds of personal hours in building the wood shop in our Makerspace. He has taught many of our high in demand mini-camps here at the Makerspace, most notably the mini-house models featured at the Cache County Fair this past summer. He will be bhilding a chess board from scratch fro our Maker Meetup in October. Ou won't want to miss out on this hands on wood shop experience.

Maker Meetups happen the 1st Wednesday of each month, from 7pm to 9pm.
