Celebrated since 1863, bright blue skies, dew covered grass and snow capped mountains are among a few of the hallmark traditions of Mendon May Day. This springtime celebration is now held on the first Saturday in May each year.

Activities include: May Pole Dance and crowning of the May Queen at City Square, a program at the church and kids' games for all ages (Family Tug-O-War, Flag Football Softball Tournament).

Saturdays at the Museum is a weekly event. Every Saturday the USU Museum of Anthropology holds different activities to teach the public about anthropology through various mediums. It is always free, and there is free parking all over campus on Saturday, but the best would be on the south side of Old Main.
