Friends of the Logan Library Public Big Book Sale

Mark your calendar for the Friends of the Logan Library Public Big Book Sale held at the library on Friday and Saturday, May 1st and 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Lake Bonneville Room.

Books purchased from Lake Bonneville Room will be sold at the price of $5.00 for a grocery-size plastic bag of books.

The Friends of the Logan Library Bookstore will also be open during the book sale, but will offer the regular prices of $1.00 for hardbacks and .50 cents for paperbacks. We accept cash and personal checks.

It's time to stock up on some good books to read! Mark your calendars and come on down to the Friends of the Logan Library Book Sale.

10:00 AM Family 1st Saturdays at the Museum

Join us on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm as we explore a new country and culture. Learn traditional dances, listen to music, eat authentic food, and make tons of fun hands-on arts and crafts projects! Programs are designed to be entertaining for the whole family. Arts and crafts activities are selected to engage kids from ages 3 to 12 and those who are young at heart. Best of all, our Family 1st Saturdays programs are FREE!

  • July 4th: Explore Afghanistan
    • Everyone is invited to join our scavenger hunt on Afghanistan hidden throughout the museum, view clothing, items, and images of the country, and make kites and learn about kite fighting. Come learn with us and join our free World Explorers Club and explore the cultures of the world with us!

OPTIONS for Independence is a non-profit organization helping people with disabilities to live independently. This is a family friendly event and individuals are encouraged to dress up. You can be "zombified" for $3 before the race. For more information check out the website.

Join the flock! Come support the Stokes Nature Center at their 17th Annual Auction Gala. There will be a seated banquet, live and silent auctions, and raffle prizes. All proceeds will benefit Stokes Nature Center and their wonderful programs.

Take a walk on the dark side of history through the scariest river hollow in Cache Valley. Keep a weather eye on the trees, where you may run into the likes of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, mummies, and the Hound of Baskerville.
