VITA - Tax Assistance
With the help of IRS certified volunteers, come get your federal and state taxes done for free. Simply call 2-1-1 to schedule an appointment.

VITA, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, is a program implemented through the statewide Earn It. Keep It. Save It. Coalition made up of local community partners. The coalition works to recruit IRS certified volunteers that provide free tax preparation services to low to moderate-income households (incomes below $51,000 in 2013).

Sites are available Monday - Thursday.

3:30 PM Life and Death on the Nile: Ancient Egyptian Civilization
The USU Museum of Anthropology presents "Life and Death on the Nile: Ancient Egyptian Civilization" at the Logan Library. Join us as we take a closer look at Ancient Egyptian culture, burial practices, art, and architecture. Kids can get a hands-on look at items of Egyptian culture!

The USU Museum of Anthropology's teaching trunk programs are made possible by a grant from the Utah Humanities Council.

3:30 PM Divorce Education for Children Class

A Divorce Education for Children class is being offered to assist children impacted by divorce. The class helps children to identify feelings common in divorce situations, while teaching them communication skills to express their feelings. Feedback received from both parents and children has been very positive; children are learning how to better communicate their feelings and parents are noticing positive changes in their child's behavior.

The Logan class is available to children enrolled in kindergarten through 6th grade whose parents are divorced or divorcing. Please note, the class is intended for children only and parents are not allowed to attend the class. Pre-registration for the class is required.

7:00 PM A Midsummer Night's Dream
The Logan Youth Shakespeare program presents the US Premier and World Amateur Premier of A Midsummer Night's Dream, by Shakespeare. This play contains mature themes.

Matinee May 31st, 2pm.

The Logan Youth Shakespeare (LYS) program provides a new opportunity for Cache Valley youth (aged 9-18) to learn and perform Shakespeare plays. Young actors experience the beauty of Shakespeare's language and the relevance of his characters by acting in his plays.
