46th International Quilt Invitational Exhibition
Featured Quilter: Barbara Barrick McKie, Connecticut
This exhibition will feature art quilts by Utah's finest quilters, as well as amazing, award-winning quilters from around the world.
The exhibition is presented by the Brigham City Museum of Art & History and is supported by Village Dry Goods, Brigham City's awesome quilt shop.
The Brigham City Museum of Art & History is located at 24 North 300 West in Brigham City. The facility is in the lower level of the Senior/Community Center. The entrance is on the west side. From Interstate 15, take the Forest Street exit and travel east to 300 West. The museum is on the corner of Forest Street and 300 West.
Lewiston's Independence Day Celebration
Rodeo held on July 3rd, starting at 7:00 pm.
Independence Day celebrations begin with a cannon salute, flag ceremony, and pancake breakfast from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. The Famous Parade begins at 9:15 am!
Events continue all day, until the Famous Firewords begin at dusk.
9:00 AM SNC Adventurers Summer Camp
Join Stokes Nature Center for summer camps full of fun, exploration, and adventure! Adventurers will expand their knowledge of natural history by learning the names and adaptations of native plants and animals while canoeing through cutler marsh, increase self reliance by navigating a climbing wall, and booting confidence and self-esteem as they build friendships and teamwork skills on the ropes course.
For children entering 2nd through 4th grade in Fall 2018. Registration is limited to 13 campers, so reserve your space today!
11:00 AM Historic Adventures
Historic Adventures are happening right now at the American West Heritage Center. From now until August 18, visitors can participate in a variety of fun, hands-on activities the whole family can enjoy, including pony and train rides, cow milking, and Tea Time Fridays, Tuesday-Saturday, 11-5.
Historic Adventures starts June 6, 2017 and goes until August 19, 2017, Tuesday - Saturday, 11AM - 5PM.
12:00 PM Logan Tabernacle Noon Summer Concert Series
The Logan Tabernacle Summer Concert Series is enjoying it's 17th Season!
The Series starts on Monday, May 28th, 2018, and will continue through Friday, August 3rd. Each weekday, a free concert, open to the public is presented at 12:00 noon in the Logan Tabernacle. Outstanding performers are showcased.
The Utah Festival Opera and Old Lyric Repertory Theater also feature performers of their current season of shows.
All concerts are free and open to the public. Please use concert etiquette while attending.
3:30 PM Teen Tuesday: Craft It Up!
Looking for something fun to do after school or during the summer break? Then come to the library for Teen Tuesdays. We'll be doing something fun every Tuesday at 3:30 pm.
Let your inner artist shine at our craft Tuesday. These ain't your granny's crafts. Each craft week we bring the supplies and ideas but you bring your imagination. You can re-create our examples or Picasso it up and create something new for yourself.
7:00 PM Freedom Fire at Maverik Stadium
Join your family, friends, neighbors, and fellow Americans on Tuesday, July 3 to celebrate the greatest country in the world at Logan's own patriotic Freedom Fire Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Show at USU Maverik Stadium.
On Tuesday, July 3 tickets go on sale at Maverik Stadium beginning at 10:00 am; gates open at 7:00 pm; entertainment provided by Mile Marker 6, The Strike, and Party Crashers begins at 8:00 pm; spectacular fireworks show at dark; and the celebration ends with a concert.
Tickets on sale beginning May 21 at the Logan Community Recreation Center (195 South 100 West), Logan Aquatic Center (451 South 500 West), Logan River Golf Course (550 West 1000 South), Cache Valley Visitors Bureau (199 North Main), or online at pr.loganutah.org. (If you purchase tickets online-be sure to print your receipt, show it at the south ticket booth Will Call window, and receive your tickets).
Tickets are $8 (+ tax) or $36 for a Six-Tix pack (+ tax). All tickets are general admission. Children 3 and under are free.
Seating will be available on the south, east, and west sides.
