2:00 PM Chinese Extravaganza Cultural Workshop
Little Bloomsbury Foundation presents "Chinese Extravaganza Summer and Fall 2013," featuring year-round cultural workshops held Saturdays from 2PM - 3PM in the Logan Library, followed by on-site interview recordings of radio program "Wan Li Lu - 10,000 Miles."

These weekly workshops are free and open to all ages. The topics are as follows:

1st week of each month: Chinese Cinema
2nd week: Food, Family and Social Relations
3rd week: "The Four Mediums of Character Refinement": Music, Chess, Calligraphy and Painting
4th and 5th weeks: Chinese Language Practice and Burning Q&A

The Old Lyric Repertory Company presents The Drowsy Chaperone in the Lyric Theatre.

It all begins when a die-hard musical theater fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable, and the musical literally bursts to life in a rambunctious tale of flappers, gangsters, divas and Latin lovers. Rated Intermediate for mild language.
