25th Annual Timpanogos Storytelling Festival(Orem)

It is the 25th Anniversary of the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival! It will be a grand party!

We invite storytellers from around the nation and across the waters to join some of our homegrown talent and share stories under our own majestic Mount Timpanogos. Stories range from fairy tales and fables from various cultures to personal stories of growing up in the Appalachian Mountains. There are historical tellers, tall tale tellers, and youth tellers.

Between storytelling hours, younger ones love to watch the puppeteers while older festival goers enjoy making vases and cups with the potters. Everyone enjoys the food (provided by some of the valley’s finest food vendors) and the jugglers who entertain during lunch and dinner. You can also relax in the music tent and enjoy an incredible array of music. In fact, you could call us a music festival if it wasn’t for all the stories!

The Festival begins Thursday evening with Look Who’s Talking! It continues all day Friday and Saturday with evening shows both days as well. Come join us for an evening show or the whole weekend; either way we are sure you’ll be hooked!

3:30 PM Divorce Education for Children Class
A Divorce Education for Children class is being offered to assist children impacted by divorce. The class helps children to identify feelings common in divorce situations, while teaching them communication skills to express their feelings. Feedback received from both parents and children has been very positive; children are learning how to better communicate their feelings and parents are noticing positive changes in their child's behavior.

The Logan class is available to children enrolled in kindergarten through 6th grade whose parents are divorced or divorcing. Please note, the class is intended for children only and parents are not allowed to attend the class. Pre-registration for the class is required.

More information can be found on the website.
