Friends of the Logan Library Public Big Book Sale

Mark your calendar for the Friends of the Logan Library Public Big Book Sale held at the library on Friday and Saturday, May 1st and 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Lake Bonneville Room.

Books purchased from Lake Bonneville Room will be sold at the price of $5.00 for a grocery-size plastic bag of books.

The Friends of the Logan Library Bookstore will also be open during the book sale, but will offer the regular prices of $1.00 for hardbacks and .50 cents for paperbacks. We accept cash and personal checks.

It's time to stock up on some good books to read! Mark your calendars and come on down to the Friends of the Logan Library Book Sale.

Logan Film Festival

The Logan Film Festival is a celebration of indie films that focuses on artistic expression and alternative views instead of big Hollywood names and budgets.

Out of the 43 films that will be screened, 7 of them were made Locally in Cache Valley, 12 in Utah, 13 in the USA, and 11 internationally.

Films will be shown in three venues: the Ellen Eccles Theatre, the DanSante Theatre, and Death Ray Comics.

8:30 AM Fall Canoe Trip on the Bear River

Soak up the first hints of cooler weather and vibrant colors will SNC’s first fall canoe trip! We’ll be canoeing the Bear from Valley View to Benson, looking for birds and critters along the way. Enjoy a peaceful day on the water, and picnicking along the banks of the river. Pack a portable lunch, plenty of liquids and a light jacket for whatever weather we may encounter. Binoculars are recommended. Choose Saturday Sept 27 or Sunday Sept 28.

4:00 PM Joy and Eric in Concert

Come join us for a free concert in the garden at Freckle Farm (formerly Tony's Grove). On Saturday, September 27th, at 4pm, Joy and Eric will perform a family friendly acoustic set that will delight your senses and soothe your soul. Bring your chairs and enjoy a relaxing fall evening in the garden with us.

The concert is free and 10 percent of your purchase the night of the concert goes to support The Child and Family Support Center.
