Mamma Mia! (Lyric)

The 2019 Season of Lyric Repertory Company brings to you Mamma Mia!.

Sophie is about to be married on the beautiful Greek island where she was raised by her mother, Donna. When she reads Donna's old diary, she realizes that the father she has never known has to be one of three men. Hoping to learn who her father is and have him walk her down the aisle, Sophie invites all three to her wedding. Meanwhile, Tanya and Rosie, her mother's two best friends and members of their all-girl singing trio from the 1970's, show up for the wedding as well.

Matinee performance on Saturday, June 22nd, July 27th, and August 3rd, at 1:00 pm.

Artists of Cache Valley

This annual community exhibition is a showcase of extraordinary local talent. The Department of Art + Design’s Tippetts & Eccles Galleries will host a select number of Cache Valley-based artists that demonstrate the breadth and depth of artistic activity in our community. This year the exhibition will feature paintings by Cody Jones and Nelson Boren, fused glass pieces by Dana Worley, ceramics by Kristi South, photographs by Maria Ellen Huebner, as well as work from many other artists. The exhibition can be viewed from Tuesday, June 25 through July 26th with a reception for the artists planned for July 12 from 5:30-7 p.m.

Stardust Big Band Show

The Stardust Big Band Show is a celebration of music from the Great American Songbook Our nation has an amazing musical tradition, with some of the best music heralding from the Jazz and Big Band Swing Eras of the 1930s and 40s. Each year, we put on a professional floor show, featuring singers and dancers from our community. Our Stardust Singers sing classic tunes such as Route 66, Tuxedo Junction, In the Mood, Stardust, Mack the Knife, and 42nd Street that will have your tapping your toes and wanting to sing along! Our dancers will amaze you with Broadway quality tap routines and kick lines. Jan Richins always adds a creative flair to her choreography…there’s always a fun surprise in our show! David Gardner is our Master of Ceremonies. He has played everything from Bob Hope to a Navy sailor, to a train conductor. David always keeps the crowd entertained and helps the audience to feel like they are part of the show!

Our delicious dinner will be catered by the Elements Restaurant.

Walking Challenge (BRHD)

Physical activity helps control weight, but it has other benefits. Physical activity such as walking can help improve health even without weight loss. People who are physically active live longer and have a lower risk for heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, depression, and some cancers.

12:00 PM Logan Tabernacle Noon Summer Concert Series

The Logan Tabernacle Summer Concert Series is enjoying it's 18th Season!

The Series starts on Monday, May 27th, 2019, and will continue through Friday, August 2nd. Each weekday, a free concert, open to the public is presented at 12:00 noon in the Logan Tabernacle. Outstanding performers are showcased.

The Utah Festival Opera and Old Lyric Repertory Theater also feature performers of their current season of shows.

All concerts are free and open to the public. Please use concert etiquette while attending.

7:00 PM Helicon West Open Mic Night

Helicon West is an open-mic reading/featured readers series for local poets and writers. Creative writers are invited to read up to 7 minutes of their original work. Arrive early to sign up. Readings are free, open to the public and uncensored.

Helicon West provides a regularly-scheduled place and time for members of the writing community to give their work a public voice, with no restrictions on levels of skill and no censorship of ideas or craft. Publication of readers' work is a main goal.

Sponsored by the USU Writing Center and the Logan Library.

7:00 PM Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Critique Group

The Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI) is presenting a free in-person peer critique session.

This group is open to anyone interested in writing or illustrating for children. Great opportunity to meet and connect with other writers and illustrators in the region.

Bring 4 copies of your Young Adult, Middle Grade or Chapter Book manuscript (up to 5 pages double spaced) or a complete Picture Book manuscript or poem. Illustrators are welcome to share their portfolios.
