9:00 AM Providence Canyon Trail Re-route
Volunteers will be doing finish work using rakes and shovels and moving road base and gravel. Time and weather permitting, we will transplant native Rocky Mtn. maple trees within the project area. The purpose of the project is to re-route the trail, complete finish work, move road base and gravel.

Volunteers should wear personal protection equipment, such as; hat, long sleeve shirts, pants, boots, gloves, eye protection and sunscreen if necessary. You will also need plenty of water.

10:00 AM Family 1st Saturdays at the Museum

Join us on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm as we explore a new country and culture. Learn traditional dances, listen to music, eat authentic food, and make tons of fun hands-on arts and crafts projects! Programs are designed to be entertaining for the whole family. Arts and crafts activities are selected to engage kids from ages 3 to 12 and those who are young at heart. Best of all, our Family 1st Saturdays programs are FREE!

  • July 4th: Explore Afghanistan
    • Everyone is invited to join our scavenger hunt on Afghanistan hidden throughout the museum, view clothing, items, and images of the country, and make kites and learn about kite fighting. Come learn with us and join our free World Explorers Club and explore the cultures of the world with us!

An ensemble performance of theatrical magic and classical music featuring magician Richard Hatch, violinist Rosemary Hatch and pianist Jonathan Hatch. Music by Bach, Kreisler and Saint-Saëns, magic by Robert-Houdin, Vernon and Punx, among others.

6:30 PM Stories in Concert: Legend of Sleepy Hollow
With music, theater, and festival, Stories in Concert connects families to great literature through an extraordinary storytelling experience.

Stories in Concert offers much more than a typical outdoor musical theater production. Stories in Concert brings classic stories, like The Legend of Sleepy Hollow in Concert, to life. Our family-friendly productions feature activities, games, and costumed characters from the world of the author and his book. Even our concessions menu stems from the story.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow in Concert is a Utah family tradition, now in its 5th production year. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or at the door.

7:00 PM Historic Downtown Logan Ghost Tour

An all new Ghost Tour awaits your arrival this Halloween Season in Historic Downtown Logan.

The Bridgerland Storytelling Guild, Cache Theatre Company and Music Theatre West will raise the hair on your neck during your private guided tour into the heart of Logan’s Historic Downtown!

The Historic Downtown Ghost Tour is technically a family-friendly tour, however, it is not recommended for small children or people who don’t like to be scared.

Each guided tour runs approximately 2 hours and walking distance is about 1/2 mile, so dress to stay warm. Tours run nightly at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm Fridays and Saturdays (October 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29). Guided tours depart from St Johns Episcopal Church (85 East 100 North, Logan) and will end at The Emporium, 55 North Main Street. Plenty of FREE parking in downtown! Each Ghost Tour includes a paranormal light stick.
