Into The Woods

The Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre presents Into The Woods

Once Upon a Time...a baker and his wife ventured Into the Woods to find ingredients to lift a witch’s curse so they could have a child. Along the way they met Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Jack and other colorful characters in this must-see magical musical quest.

Sense and Sensibility

The Old Lyric Repertory Company presents Sense & Sensibility in the Caine Lyric Theatre.

Through love and loss, the Dashwood sisters learn that sense must mix with sensibility if they are to find happiness. Jane Austen’s classic love story comes to life in what many are calling the greatest adaptation of Sense & Sensibility ever.

The Barber of Seville

Count Almaviva visits the house of Doctor Bartolo and serenades Rosina, whom Bartolo keeps confined to the house. But Figaro the barber knows all the town's secrets and explains to Almaviva that Rosina isn’t Bartolo's daughter, and that the doctor intends to marry her. The Barber of Seville is comic opera at its best.

International Quilt Invitational Exhibition(Brigham)

46th International Quilt Invitational Exhibition

Featured Quilter: Barbara Barrick McKie, Connecticut

This exhibition will feature art quilts by Utah's finest quilters, as well as amazing, award-winning quilters from around the world.

The exhibition is presented by the Brigham City Museum of Art & History and is supported by Village Dry Goods, Brigham City's awesome quilt shop.

The Brigham City Museum of Art & History is located at 24 North 300 West in Brigham City. The facility is in the lower level of the Senior/Community Center. The entrance is on the west side. From Interstate 15, take the Forest Street exit and travel east to 300 West. The museum is on the corner of Forest Street and 300 West.

SNC Mountaineers Summer Camp

Mountaineers will expand their knowledge of natural history by learning the names and adaptations of native plants and animals while canoeing through cutler marsh, increase self reliance by navigating a climbing wall, and booting confidence and self-esteem as they build friendships and teamwork skills on the ropes course.

For children entering 8th through 10th grade in Fall 2018.

Historic Adventures are happening right now at the American West Heritage Center. From now until August 18, visitors can participate in a variety of fun, hands-on activities the whole family can enjoy, including pony and train rides, cow milking, and Tea Time Fridays, Tuesday-Saturday, 11-5.

The Logan Tabernacle Summer Concert Series is enjoying it's 17th Season!

The Series starts on Monday, May 28th, 2018, and will continue through Friday, August 3rd. Each weekday, a free concert, open to the public is presented at 12:00 noon in the Logan Tabernacle. Outstanding performers are showcased.

7:00 PM Helicon West Open Mic Night

Helicon West is an open-mic reading/featured readers series for local poets and writers. Creative writers are invited to read up to 7 minutes of their original work. Arrive early to sign up. Readings are free, open to the public and uncensored.

Helicon West provides a regularly-scheduled place and time for members of the writing community to give their work a public voice, with no restrictions on levels of skill and no censorship of ideas or craft. Publication of readers' work is a main goal.

7:00 PM Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Critique Group

The Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI) is presenting a free in-person peer critique session.

This group is open to anyone interested in writing or illustrating for children. Great opportunity to meet and connect with other writers and illustrators in the region.

Bring 4 copies of your Young Adult, Middle Grade or Chapter Book manuscript (up to 5 pages double spaced) or a complete Picture Book manuscript or poem. Illustrators are welcome to share their portfolios.
