3:30 PM ASAP: After School Activity Program

Come join us in the Lake Bonneville Room every Thursday afternoon at 3:30pm for our After School Activity Programs. Each week is something different. Choose your interests or come every week. All activities are free and open to the public. Intended for kids age 5 to 11 and their families.

1st Thursday: Science Club

2nd Thursday: Lego Club

3rd Thursday: Engineering Club

4th Thursday: Games & Chess

5th Thursday: A New Surprise Each 5th Thursday!

6:30 PM Couple Links

We will be offering a free Couple Links class on Thursday evenings from March 29th to April 26th (excluding April 12th) from 6:30 - 8:30pm in the Jim Bridger Room. This class will be taught by Life Educators from USU and is based on the research of Dr. John Van Epp. .

Participants need to register online at www.HealthyRelationshipsUtah.org.

Light refreshments will be offered.

Logan High School presents, Quilters, based on the book, "Quilters: Women and Domestic Art" by Patricia Cooper and Norma Bradley Allen.

Quilters is presented through special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

7:00 PM Helicon West Open Mic Night

Helicon West is an open-mic reading/featured readers series for local poets and writers. Creative writers are invited to read up to 7 minutes of their original work. Arrive early to sign up. Readings are free, open to the public and uncensored.

Helicon West provides a regularly-scheduled place and time for members of the writing community to give their work a public voice, with no restrictions on levels of skill and no censorship of ideas or craft. Publication of readers' work is a main goal.

Sponsored by the USU Writing Center and the Logan Library.

7:00 PM Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Critique Group

The Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI) is presenting a free in-person peer critique session.

This group is open to anyone interested in writing or illustrating for children. Great opportunity to meet and connect with other writers and illustrators in the region.

Bring 4 copies of your Young Adult, Middle Grade or Chapter Book manuscript (up to 5 pages double spaced) or a complete Picture Book manuscript or poem. Illustrators are welcome to share their portfolios.
