Utah Plein Air Exhibit (Brigham)

During the Brigham City Museum’s Plein Air Exhibition, every corner visitors turn in the gallery they will experience the immensity and power of Utah’s landscapes. The scenic paintings will be on display Sept. 8 through Nov. 3. Admission is free.

“En plein air” is a French expression that refers to the 19th century style of painting outdoors.

4:00 PM Misconceptions of the Middle Ages

Join us for a panel discussion about common misconceptions of the medieval world. Was life really dirty, crooked, and backwards? Why is it often called the "Dark Ages?" Is there any truth in Hollywood portrayals of the period? Your questions are welcome! Refreshments will be served.

5:00 PM Cache Pride Center Youth Groups

Every Friday evening, the Cache Pride Center provides a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ youth, ages 14 to 17.

We also just added a LGBTQ+ youth and LGBTQ+ affirming youth group every Friday for ages 10 to 14.

In each group we:

  • we provide a hot meal and check in with our youth
  • tailor to needs of youth through support groups, individually crafted lessons to develop lifelong skills, creative expression workshops, peer support
  • provide an hour of tutoring during the school year
  • assist in accessing affirming health care, mental health care, local organizations, Suicide prevention, and additional relevant resources

Our mission at the Cache Pride Center is to transform and support Cache Valley Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Pansexual, plus (LGBTQIAP+) communities through support groups, comprehensive programming, suicide prevention, mentoring, advocacy, and training devised to promote positive outlooks and change within underserved populations.

Our corn maze is a ton of fun. From our Hay forts to the Haunted River trail it is our goal to offer a variety of activities associated with fall and Halloween to make Little Bear Bottoms fun for people of all ages.

7:00 PM Historic Downtown Logan Ghost Tour

Haunted structures, nighttime spirits, and eerie stories await your arrival this Halloween Season in Historic Downtown Logan

Learn about downtown’s most infamous ghosts, poltergeists, and spirits doomed to the realm of mortals. The Historic Downtown Logan Ghost Tour is technically a family-friendly tour, however, it is not recommended for small children or for people who don’t like to be scared.

Your private guided walking tour will take you into the heart of Logan’s haunted history as you visit sites with the Bridgerland Storytelling Guild and Green Wolf Productions.

Each guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours and walking distance is less than ½ mile. Tours run nightly between 7:00 and 11:00pm. Fridays and Saturdays in October (5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27).

And for those who want to go on Ghost Hunts deep into the night, paranormal investigators will be available following your tour.

Science Unwrapped, hosted by Utah State University's College of Science, is a public outreach program for inquiring minds of all ages. Participants enjoy a lecture followed by hands-on learning activities.

All ages are invited to Science Unwrapped, as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary with our "Powers of 10" theme for Fall 2018-Spring 2019.

7:00 PM Tunnel Tales: Fall

Suspenseful stories that will thrill you and chill you down to the bone!

There’s a roof (road) overhead and chairs are provided, but, the tunnel is open at both ends, there’s no heat and the park’s restrooms may or may not be open that time of year. So, it would behoove you to dress appropriately and come prepared for the prevailing temperatures and conditions.

While these stories are not graphically violent, They’re still not recommended for kids under 8 years of age.
