International Quilt Invitational Exhibition

July 1st thru Aug. 29th, 2015

The world in cloth from the Czech Republic to Peru will be on display in the Brigham City Museum’s International Quilt Invitational Exhibition July 1 through Aug. 29, 2015. Quilters born in Russia, the Netherlands, Austria, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States have created works not only about their native country, but about places they have visited, specifically Italy, Africa, Ireland, France, India, Turkey, Indonesia and Australia.

The Brigham City Museum of Art & History is located at 24 North 300 West in Brigham City. The facility is in the lower level of the Senior/Community Center. The entrance is on the west side. From Interstate 15, take the Forest Street exit and travel east to 300 West. The museum is on the corner of Forest Street and 300 West.

7:00 AM Pioneer Day Celebration and Parade

Logan City Parks and Recreation present their annual Pioneer Day Celebration and Parade. Activities will be happening all day at Willow Park.

Highlights include the 13th Annual Logan Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, Non-competitive Fun Run, Volleyball Tournament, Horseshoe Tournament, Soccer Tournament, Food and Craft Booths, Parade, Family Fun Zumba, Pioneer Playland, Candy Cannon, Car Show, Pie Eating Contest, Watermelon Eating Contest, Munch Madness, Family Fun Bingo, Magician Richard Hatch, music by Mile Marker 6(Country Band) and The Strike(Pop-Funk-Rock), and Fireworks!

7:30 PM Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

The Old Barn Community Theatre presents Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, directed by Heather Gleason.

Performances are on Friday's, Saturday's, and Monday's, July 25th to August 16th at 7:30 pm. Matinees on the 2nd and 9th of August at 2:00 pm.

A special Barn Burner fundraiser and preview performance on July 24th, at 6:30 pm.
