10:00 AM Family 1st Saturdays at the Museum

Join us on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm as we explore a new country and culture. Learn traditional dances, listen to music, eat authentic food, and make tons of fun hands-on arts and crafts projects! Programs are designed to be entertaining for the whole family. Arts and crafts activities are selected to engage kids from ages 3 to 12 and those who are young at heart. Best of all, our Family 1st Saturdays programs are FREE!

  • July 4th: Explore Afghanistan
    • Everyone is invited to join our scavenger hunt on Afghanistan hidden throughout the museum, view clothing, items, and images of the country, and make kites and learn about kite fighting. Come learn with us and join our free World Explorers Club and explore the cultures of the world with us!
