10:15 AM Spanish-Language Storytime

Vengan a escuchar cuentos y canciones divertidas para los niños (¡Los padres son tambien invitados!) Come listen to fun stories and songs for children (Parents are also invited to attend!)

Spanish-Language storytime is for children of all ages and their parents. No registration is required.

4:00 PM Tween Time

The Logan Library is starting a new Tween Club! We'll be playing with some new tech and just generally having a good time.

What is a tween? A kid who feels a little too old for Children's activities, but isn't ready (or old enough) to go to Teen activities. Generally, ages 10-14'ish.

5:00 PM CVCWC Writing Workshops

The Cache Valley Community Writing Center will be holding the following writing workshops in January:

  • February 6th: FUNdamentals of Creative Research with Cari Phillips
  • February 13th: Bad Love Poetry led by Stephanie Pointer: This is a Haiku
  • February 20th: Tension: Tracking, Tightening, & Catharsis with Nate Hardy
  • February 27th: The Greatest Showing NOT Telling with Jack Bylund

All CVCWC Worskhops are held in the Brider Room of the Logan Library from 5 pm to 6 pm, Wednesday nights. Free one-on-one tutoring is available from 6 pm to 7 pm. No registration required. Free and open to the public.

6:30 PM Parenting the Love and Logic Way

The library is again hosting the instructors at Healthy Relationships Utah during the month of January, teaching another session of Parenting the Love and Logic Way. These classes will be taught in the Lake Bonneville Room from 6:30-8:30 PM) on Wednesdays from January 9th through January 30th.

Light refreshments will be offered during the classes.

7:00 PM Telescopes and Accessories for Backyard Astronomy (CVAS)

The Cache Valley Astronomical Society invites the public to a free panel discussion by local amateur astronomers. Everyone with an interest in backyard astronomy, regardless of experience level, is welcome!

The Cache Valley Astronomical Society is a community based astronomy club for the people of Cache Valley and northern Utah. They have monthly meetings in Logan, Utah, get together for occasional stargazing, and are happy to share their love of the night sky with everyone. Everyone is welcome.

7:30 PM The King and I

Two worlds collide in this exquisite national tour of the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical, based on the 2015 Tony Award®-winning Lincoln Center Theater production. Set in 1860's Bangkok, an unconventional and tempestuous relationship develops between the King of Siam and Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children.
